College Newspaper

The end of this semester marked the end of my time with the Ohlone College Monitor, the school newspaper. I did mostly photography. I learned how to be less shy about walking up to random people, but otherwise I think I have a lot of negative things to say about the experience. I experienced a lot of the same crap I did in my yearbook class in high school and more and more I believe that young people shouldn't be allowed to run things. They just aren't very good at it. And the teacher "in charge" doesn't seem to keep track of anything which I guess is why he gave me an undeserved C for the one unit class that I beat myself up every week for. Thats another story though. Anyway, here's the proof, published in the paper, that I wasn't just hiding out after school every other day:

Christmas!

Christmas came and went. If I blinked I would have missed it. I came down with something on the 23rd and was under the weather on Christmas day, but still managed to have fun. Its too bad none of us took very many pictures, but here are a couple. I felt obligated to humiliate Butters as I do every holiday or special occasion. I got some video games a heart rate monitor to help me exercise more efficiently and a back massaging pad. Apparently everyone was secretly mocking me for wanting one (Christy), but they were sorry once they tried it out. Cory and Kristal came over later on Christmas day and stayed a few days. We had lots of fun playing games and watching movies while I tried not to die of my illness.
